About the Role

The Principal Service Engineering Specialist is responsible for conducting service training for internal and external stakeholders, monitoring depot engineers' service activities for compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to improve after-sales service efficiency, and increasing customer satisfaction and trust in TERUMO products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service training to internal service engineers and external customers (Hospital BME, Nurse, etc.) on operations, maintenance/inspection procedures and techniques.
• Coach and control service staff performing in-house service activities (Pre-Delivery Inspection, Repairing, Calibration) to reduce OOBF before delivery to customers.
• Update records and maintain the up-to-date installation base system.
• Analyze equipment failures to determine causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure Field Service Corrective Action (FSCA) is completed and submitted to regional QA/RA within timeline.
• Monitor and address customer complaints in a timely manner.

Skills / Technical Skills

• Experience in repairing and performing PM & calibration of medical equipment (e.g., infusion pump, syringe pump, blood bank equipment) for at least 5 years.
• Good skills in electronic circuit analysis and electronic devices.
• Proficient in Excel / Spreadsheets and able to provide data analytics from raw data.
• Good presentation and training skills; able to conduct service training for stakeholders.
• Familiarity with TERUMO's KOLs, especially Biomedical Engineers / Heads of Nursing in hospitals that have TERUMO products installed.
• Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Biomedical Engineering preferred.
• Result oriented and service-minded.
