International Media Producer (Asia)

About the Company

Storytailors is known for making ambitious international shoots possible, anywhere in the world. We helped produce content used by the biggest names in international media — including Netflix, BBC, Discovery, Amazon, ITV, and Al Jazeera.

We specialise in international production support: logistics, local access, contributors, scouting, crews, permits, and problem-solving on the ground, mainly for broadcast television and documentaries, branded content, commercials, digital content, and fast-turnaround editorial shoots.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison connecting clients to local producers across your region and ensure productions happen as agreed.
• Manage productions remotely from inception to final bill: pitch, budget, crewing, locations, permitting and project management.
• Participate as a producer on the ground on shoots in your territory and work on-set when required.
• Take emails and phone calls from potential clients (foreign production companies and international journalists) and convert them into paid assignments.
• Liaise with production people around the world to execute assignments and coordinate local crews remotely.
• Handle budgets, payments and profitability for each project.
• Work on a variety of job types including commercials, documentaries and current affairs pieces; fast-paced, field production environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English (both spoken and written) – C2 level is a must.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in media production (on-set preferably).
• Budgeting knowledge and experience handling project finances.
• International knowledge and experience working with global productions and local partners.
• Availability to work full-time (ideally).

Additional Information

• Work arrangement: hybrid; work will be on set for relevant projects and also remotely depending on territory.
