Responsibilities

• Manage and execute inventory, warehouse and fulfilment activities, including planning and execution.
• Operate across various warehouse types (CFS, CY, inland depots/warehouses, bonded warehouses), whether owned or operated by Maersk.
• Lead people with employee lifecycle responsibilities: hiring, firing, coaching, mentoring, task coordination, performance appraisal and pay reviews.
• Set direction and develop business and operational areas, policies and practices, and implement business plans.
• Prioritise tasks and manage day-to-day activities of direct and/or indirect reports to achieve objectives.
• Apply practical methods and techniques to solve problems, choosing between known alternatives and evaluating effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in a related area, or practical knowledge obtained via advanced education.
• Knowledge for application of practical methods, work procedures and processes within the area of expertise.
• Ability to work independently within defined boundaries and to seek supervision and support on more complex tasks.
