About the Company

Control Union Certifications, part of the global Control Union network, specializes in sustainability services across agricultural and related supply chains. The organization supports clients in food, feed, forestry, biomass, bioenergy, social compliance, and textiles markets, providing tailored programs and over 100 established certification and verification schemes. This role is based in Samut Prakan and is full-time, on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, including planning and assigning tests and monitoring workflows to meet project and customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to established methods, protocols, safety and quality standards.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; escalate complex technical issues as needed.
• Review and interpret test results, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Conduct and verify quality control procedures and document QC results to support compliance with internal and external standards.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.
• Train, mentor, and supervise laboratory team members; contribute to method development or optimization.
• Collaborate with other departments to support customer projects and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Laboratory Medicine, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related scientific field.
• Strong laboratory skills with hands-on experience in laboratory procedures and routine techniques.
• Proficiency in operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Demonstrated analytical skills for interpreting test data, identifying deviations, and resolving technical issues.
• Experience in Quality Control including implementing QC protocols, documenting results, and supporting compliance with relevant standards.
• Experience in a commercial or industrial laboratory environment; experience with sustainability, agriculture, or food/feed testing is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks under defined timelines.
• Ability to mentor junior staff, work effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English; Thai language skills are a plus. English required at a professional level.
