BD Strategic Initiatives (Instant Delivery Project Manager) (Shopee)

About the Role

The Shopee Commercial Business Development (BD) team is the engine driving our platform’s most ambitious growth levers. As a Project Owner on the Speed Squad, you will own the blueprint for Shopee’s Instant Delivery ecosystem in a "Day 1" builder role designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity and is obsessed with scaling ultra-fast fulfillment from a premium feature into a cornerstone of the Shopee experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Initiatives: Initiate and manage scalable solutions and programs aimed at enhancing the overall buyer journey and improving delivery speed to improve seller and buyer experiences.
• Drive Project Execution: Assist in the end-to-end implementation of key projects, ensuring initiatives align with Commercial team strategic objectives and are delivered on time.
• Provide Data-Driven Insights: Identify analytical and reporting needs, critically evaluate and define business metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations to support continuous business improvement.
• Optimize Processes: Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand pain points, scope problems, and enhance internal processes through automation and strategic improvements to boost team productivity.
• Communicate Effectively: Translate complex data and insights into clear, illustrative presentations and dashboards and communicate strategic recommendations to business leaders.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in business analyst–related roles analyzing large data sets and informing company strategy.
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree, preferably in Analytics, Statistics, Software, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge in SQL is a plus.
• Experience in logistics, delivery, or ecommerce in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment is a plus.
• Problem solver: able to assess complex business problems, find creative and effective solutions, and employ tactics and tools to resolve situations in a timely manner.
• Scalable solutioning: able to think and plan ahead, building scalable information systems/dashboards for day-to-day business decisions.
