Finance Analyst

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries to trade, innovate and grow. We organise large-scale branded and transaction-led B2B events and provide data, digital content and year-round online platforms to showcase businesses and generate leads.

The role will be based at Ari Hills Building and reports to the Senior Finance Manager. You will work with the Thailand Finance Team and Asia Shared Service Centre (SSC) to support day-to-day finance operations, deliver timely analysis and support financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Submit timely, accurate and commercially focused Budget, Forecast and 3 Year Planning for Thailand in line with agreed templates and timetables
• Identify and report risks and opportunities by monitoring sales pacing and cost spending
• Prepare concise commentary highlights, anticipating questions and providing supporting analysis
• Provide Business Partner support to event teams
• Monthly P&L review and month-end coordination with SSC, ensuring revenue and costs are recorded correctly and intercompany billings are performed
• Ensure accruals follow Group guidelines and are released timely where applicable
• Build reports for review and analysis purposes
• Liaise with auditors and handle related queries
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, identify trends and evaluate financial performance
• Manage Intercompany recharge and ensure agreements are in place
• Stay updated on accounting principles and relevant financial regulations and respond to ad hoc queries from stakeholders

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting or finance degree is a prerequisite
• Familiarity with local statutory and tax regulations is mandatory
• Prior FP&A / business partnering experience in an MNC environment preferred; typically 3–5 years' experience
• Working knowledge of Oracle and SAP
• Well-versed in financial regulations and good understanding of month-end processes
• Self-motivated, accountable and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and results-oriented
• Well-organized with strong prioritisation skills and a growth mindset to adapt to change
• Fluent in Thai and English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
