About the Role

About The Pioneer Talent Program

• Early-career full-time program offering a tailored training curriculum and 1:1 mentorship from industry leaders.
• Participants will gain hands-on expertise across Binance’s product and engineering teams and work on Web3 projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the product direction and roadmap for backend trading systems.
• Improve core systems like matching engine, risk engines, and pricing models for derivatives products (Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts etc.).
• Work with trading engineering teams to translate complex trading needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in the product lifecycle from planning to release and ongoing/new feature launches.
• Monitor backend performance and fix issues before they impact users.
• Ensure systems comply with standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quant fields.
• Candidates with up to 5 years of relevant work experience (including internships); ideally in trading systems, backend product, fintech, quant, or platform roles.
• Strong understanding of trading fundamentals such as order book mechanics, margin, leverage, liquidation, PnL, and risk management concepts.
• Strong logical thinking and ability to work with complex mathematical models and system rules.
• Comfortable working with data and technical teams; experience with SQL / Python / Excel is a strong plus.
• Bilingual English / Mandarin is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
