T&T Consultant - Artificial Intelligence & Data (Data Scientist) - TH

About the Role

Location: Bangkok, TH. This role sits within the Artificial Intelligence & Data team of Deloitte Southeast Asia (Engineering, AI & Data). The team leverages data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover insights and help clients transform their business through organisational intelligence programs and AI/IA solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation, sale and delivery of intelligent automation (IA) and AI solutions including robotic process automation, intelligent character recognition, chatbots/virtual assistants and machine learning models.
• Design and develop data integration (batch/real-time, ETL/ELT) processes for structured and unstructured data using tools such as Informatica, Talend, Pentaho PDI or cloud services.
• Apply analytical models to predict business outcomes using tools such as Dataiku, DataRobot, TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch.
• Build quick POCs and iterate to convert ideas into production-ready data science solutions.
• Perform data quality assessment, data exploration, profiling, design and development of analytic datasets, statistical analysis and machine learning modelling.
• Interact with business and technical stakeholders to deliver products that meet business requirements and expectations.
• Act as a leader by sharing knowledge, seeking developmental opportunities, building cooperative relationships, communicating effectively, motivating teams and promoting improvements aligned to disruptive trends.

Qualifications

• Good honours degree, preferably postgraduate, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• 3-5 years of experience in data science, building supervised, unsupervised and/or optimisation models with demonstrable business impact; experience in Big 4, MNC consulting or industry roles preferred.
• Applied experience in two or more machine learning problem classes (forecasting, prediction, segmentation, optimisation, cognitive use cases).
• Proficient in data quality assessment, profiling, statistical analysis and designing analytic datasets.
• Strong coding skills and foundation in data structures and algorithms; experience with Python or R.
• Comfortable working in cloud environments and scalable computing; experience with AWS or GCP machine learning platforms.
• Experience with tools such as Dataiku, DataRobot and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).
• Passion for delivering quality code and ensuring team deliverables meet client expectations; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
