About the Role
As Senior Manager, Manufacturing Excellence, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic planning cycle and projects execution within the location, by coaching and supporting project leaders during execution
- Provide coaching and support to operational areas on Lean Manufacturing and Operational excellence implementations
- Ensure the strategic planning and lean manufacturing concepts are aligned to bring benefits to our customers
- Ensure alignment of the strategic priorities of the location with the corporate goals and financial targets
- Openly engage stakeholders for critical activities and ensure effective collaboration with all functions
- Support people's development by coaching and training the location team
- Build a diverse and trust-based leadership team with strong culture of collaboration
- Drive, manage and facilitate strategic focus area and business challenge for Plant operation as well as Crafting and Supply
- Manage projects and key stakeholders, facilitate meetings and discussions to ensure projects progress as planned. Identify risks and issues to formulate mitigation actions and solutions
- Create governance, framework and roadmaps for all plant strategic initiatives and support plant leadership teams
- Support management decision making by gathering and analyzing information, formulating solutions, and proposing recommendations
- Inspire plant leadership teams to continuously challenge status quo, be proactive and be change agents with owner mentality
- Develop and execute a comprehensive plant strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives
- Identify areas for E2E process optimization within manufacturing operations through data analysis, benchmarking, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with stakeholders on new disruptive approaches to enhance operational efficiency in people, cost, quality, service, resilience, agility and sustainability
- Collaborate with I&PD, C&SQ, Supply chain, and Plant operation teams to align manufacturing processes with product design and demand forecasts
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments to ensure smooth operations and strategic execution
- Ensure Strategy covers risk management and supports continuous monitoring of location risks
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor KPIs and provide regular reports on manufacturing operations performance
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommend improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to manufacturing excellence
- Manage the budget for strategic operations, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's degree preferred) in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing culture, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong working experience of manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies with proven record in working with cross functional teams, management or executive management to gain alignment and decisions
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in manufacturing environments
- Experience working in an international firm with diverse cultural and large-scale manufacturing
