About the Role

Engineering Design (Part Design Brake, Tire, Suspension)

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of concept, design, development and product quality with emphasis on technical excellence
• Contribute from concept to part design stage to achieve product targets
• Support complete vehicle development, local production start-up and quality assurance
• Develop or improve automobile structures, accessories and related systems using 2D & 3D programs
• Coordinate development activities with procurement, factory, suppliers and styling design function
• Develop engineering specifications and cost estimates for automotive design concepts

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in automotive design
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Tool & Material, Automotive Design, Aerospace or related field)
• Good to operate CATIA and 2D/3D design tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Systematic and logical thinking with good self-planning and organizational skills
• Good command of spoken and written English (TOEIC 550 up or equivalent)
• Japanese skill would be an advantage
• Experience in automotive business is an advantage
• Strong interest in Automotive Engineering Design
