Head of Finance for OEM

About the Role

Position: Head of Finance for OEM. Level: Director. Report to: CFO. Location: Bangkok. Work arrangement: onsite. Employment type: full_time.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute BU financial strategy and comprehensive financial plans for all geographical markets the BU operates in.
• Ensure BU financial strategy aligns with Thai Union Group profitability and revenue targets.
• Perform scenario analysis and stress-testing of plans; adjust in response to market changes.
• Oversee development and execution of short- and long-term BU financial plans aligned with growth and profitability goals.
• Manage and predict BU-specific financial risks, including commodity prices and market volatility.
• Drive continuous improvement of FP&A frameworks and standardize FP&A practices and guidelines across the BU.
• Spearhead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and implement advanced financial systems and technological transformations.
• Oversee consolidated planning, forecasting, budgeting, and improve forecast accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Drive financial decisions on new and existing projects, including lifecycle costing, product setup and updates, price analysis, and promotion budget allocation.
• Supervise preparation and timely dissemination of internal management and business performance reports, including variance analysis and budget impact assessments.
• Set finance function metrics for OEM commercial and oversee end-to-end BU performance versus targets and KPIs.
• Motivate, lead, develop and retain a diverse, high-performing OEM Finance team; manage people budget in collaboration with HR.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English.
• Deep understanding of the OEM ambient seafood industry, including market trends, cost structures, and operational drivers impacting financial performance.
• Proven ability to translate business goals into financial strategies and provide decision support to business leaders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to align regional teams and collaborate across functions.
• Ability to make informed strategic decisions under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem identification and resolution.
• Proven experience in inspiring, leading and developing high-performing, diverse teams with focus on building local leadership pipeline.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly to support international collaboration.

• FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Lifecycle costing, price analysis and commercial financial planning.
• Financial reporting, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Implementation of financial systems and process standardization.
