Project Finance Controller

About the Role

Join our team as a Commercial Project Manager / Project Finance Controller at Siemens to ensure compliance, drive financial performance and maintain strong client relationships within project-based operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project books and records; ensure timely recognition of order, revenue, billing, cost, NCC and cash in compliance with Siemens‑FRG and local GAAP.
• Perform project reporting and controlling based on project management guidelines (e.g., PM @ Siemens & LoA).
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage financial results, optimize project gross profit, cash flow and assets, and leverage financing instruments.
• Drive cost efficiency, working with procurement to secure better conditions.
• Engage with customer commercial representatives to resolve issues including collections and tax exemptions.
• Establish and maintain contract and claim management systems in coordination with contract/legal experts.
• Support identification, evaluation and mitigation of commercial risks and opportunities, coordinating with tax, logistics and insurance experts.
• Promote and uphold the Business Conduct Guidelines and a culture of trust and integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in a project-based business with knowledge of contracts, tax and logistics.
• Proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills; ability to work effectively within a team.
