Shift Manager – Packing

Job Description:

Are you ready to lead a team in the Petcare Manufacturing industry? As a Shift Manager at Mars Petcare SEA, you’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production during each shift. You will play a key role in leading continuous improvements, fostering team engagement, and developing associates' careers while maintaining a safe work environment.

What You’ll Do

As our Shift Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee daily production operations to meet quality standards and safety requirements while maximizing resources (manpower and machines).
• Lead shift teams, conduct performance evaluations, and create development plans to unlock associate potential.
• Lead daily production meetings, set performance standards, and ensure the factory operates with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and compliance to GMP and 5S principles.
• Build a high-performing, motivated team, and lead training and development efforts to enhance teamwork and involvement.
• Align with MSE roadmap and oversee pillar leadership in your shift.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who has:

• At least 7 years of experience in a production environment, ideally in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Lean, and TPM practices.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in people development.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on team development, motivating others, and making sound decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
