As an Engineering Scheduler, you will optimize product development performance by identifying work optimization opportunities, facilitating inter-departmental communication, and managing resource scheduling efficiently. This role ensures timely project delivery and maximizes operational efficiency across engineering activities.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Engineering Scheduler main goals are to ensure product development performance by identify opportunities to work optimization, facilitate communication with other departments and plants, assessing material availability and consumption, controlling machine availability and load, understanding work force availability, evaluating process lead time and other related activities to schedule the internal activities and usage of resources and the most efficient and effective way.
You will be working closely with several departments including Engineering Technical Office, Engineering Tool Shop, Process Engineering, Engineering Master Data, Supply Chain Planning & Procurement, Production, Quality, Sourcing, Cost Accounting and with different Group’s Plants, especially China and Italy.

- Understand new demand and current Engineering WIP
- Assess material availability & consumption
- Control machine and workforce availability and load
- Evaluate product mix, process lead time and clusterization
- Define sequence based on priorities and possible optimization
- Schedule Engineering activities leveraging on opportunities to reduce number of setup, eliminate waiting time and maximize efficiency
- Follow up and control schedule execution with the Engineering Teams
- Identify bottlenecks and constraints working to resolve them with the proper teams
- Build and automate reporting structures and systems
- Report on Schedule adhesion, output, lead time, material usage, efficiency and blocking points
Must have
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Industry-related programs
- Professional experience or background as Supply Chain Planner or Scheduler
- Good Interpersonal Skills with the right communication level including a good English (both written and spoken)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Production Scheduling
- Ownership and understanding his/her results depend on his/her own attitude and management capability
- Good knowledge in Controlling and Finance will be a plus
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies will be a plus
- Time management, initiative and teamwork
