Senior Data Architect

About the Role

A Data Architect(s) is an individual who will define and design the data architecture framework for modern data platforms, define information governance policies, standards and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data providing options with respect to end state data architecture and implementation of processes and DG technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design database architecture and topologies, enterprise data models of applications, integration, data warehouse applications, ETL processes and business intelligence reports using best practices and tools.
• Conduct high-quality reviews related to outcomes including ETL processes, data warehouse designs and data system enhancements in accordance with existing standards and guidelines.
• Resolve data architecture issues with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches.
• Analyze data architecture-related business needs and work with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments.
• Gather data requirements such as data interfacing guidelines to facilitate continuous data management throughout the data lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Able to communicate both writing and speaking in English and Thai.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on financial services or consulting.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with experience in deploying models in production environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including leading technical projects, mentoring junior team members, and driving innovation.
