Transfer Pricing, Senior Associate / Associate, Tax - Bangkok

The Team: Due to growth in our Thai tax practice we are hiring Senior Associate / Associate level candidates in our transfer pricing service line. The Thai tax practice covers tax advisory services including M&A tax due diligence, transfer pricing advisory and compliance, and general tax advisory. This position will lead and/or execute a diverse range of complex transfer pricing assignments.

Responsibilities

• Documentation & Compliance: Lead preparation of transfer pricing documentation (Master Files, Local Files, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR)) in compliance with OECD guidelines and Thai regulations.
• Economic Analysis: Perform in-depth functional (FAR) analysis, conduct economic analysis and benchmarking studies to determine arm's length pricing ranges.
• Financial Modeling: Build and review complex financial models to value intangible assets, analyze intercompany loans, and test pricing policies.
• Advisory: Assist in design and implementation of transfer pricing policies for business restructurings, supply chain transformations, and M&A due diligence.
• TP Controversy and Dispute Resolution: Support clients during transfer pricing audits and the end-to-end process for Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP).
• Business development: Support Managers and Partners in business development activities, including drafting proposals, preparing pitch decks, and identifying new service opportunities within existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate degree in accountancy or related fields (business, economics, commerce, law) preferred.
• 0–2 years of transfer pricing experience for Associate level; minimum 2 years for Senior Associate level.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Thai.
• Knowledge of OECD transfer pricing guidelines and Thai transfer pricing regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
