Responsibilities

• The CAD/BIM Technician will carry out 3D modelling and drafting of structures under the supervision of a Structural Engineer or Project Manager and support Egis projects implemented globally.
• Produce 3D models and 2D drawings of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and steel structures, including general and detailed drawings.
• Take instructions from the Structural Engineer and create high-quality 3D models and technical drawings using CAD and BIM tools following project drawing standards.
• Produce and manage CAD and BIM files in a DMS working environment and develop programs for CAD/BIM automated production.
• Work within a design team and individually on CAD/BIM projects; review models with engineers and make required adjustments; attend internal technical meetings with engineers and other draftsmen.
• Ensure quality of modelling and drafting deliverables and comply with the company’s Safety Policy and Quality Management System.
• Scope of works includes bridge and viaduct structures, elevated station structures, port structures, track work and other civil structures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory.
• Diploma in BIM modelling and design is preferred.
• CAD Professional Certification and proven experience as a BIM modeller or drafter on structural projects.
• Thai and English languages for business purposes.

Additional Information

• Appetency for bridge and structure modelling and drafting; knowledge of software such as Revit is a plus.
• Appetency for programming and use of related tools; basic understanding of structure design, materials and construction processes.
• Good reasoning skills, a keen eye for detail, ability to work in an international context (good level of English speaking & writing), ability to work under pressure with a good working attitude, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
