About the Role

DevOps Engineer responsible for ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient software delivery by automating infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with development and operations teams to improve deployment speed, stability, and overall service quality.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for service delivery performance and ensuring systems and procedures are in place to support outstanding service delivery.
• Ensure that services under management are available as per target SLA (up-time) level and that issues are resolved promptly with appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Automate infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines, and monitor system performance to improve deployment speed, stability, and overall service quality.
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint by working closely with Developers and other relevant parties.
• Ensure complete delivery of work for a Sprint/Release by ensuring artefacts are complete and ready for development and assisting teams.
• Create project artefacts (PR, RFP, PID, Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Use case, Flow charts, PSAP etc) for initiatives related to the squad backlog.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to elicit requirements and specifications for artefacts and deliverables.
• Support test creation/execution when required and perform peer review of documents before distribution.
• Support training to others on new solutions as needed and assist with mentoring junior members of the team.
• Provide input to estimations on projects based on Business Requirements, assist with coordination of projects with IT, and provide input/recommendations regarding hardware and capacity of channel systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
• At least 6 years of experience in DevOps Engineer or related fields.
• Good knowledge of Cloud (Azure, AWS etc).

• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and cloud infrastructure knowledge.
