About Agoda

At Agoda, we bridge the world through travel. Our story began in 2005, when two lifelong friends and entrepreneurs, driven by their passion for travel, launched Agoda to make it easier for everyone to explore the world.

Today, we are part of Booking Holdings [NASDAQ: BKNG], with a diverse team of over 7,000 people from 90 countries, working together in offices around the globe. Every day, we connect people to destinations and experiences, with our great deals across our millions of hotels and holiday properties, flights, and experiences worldwide.

No two days are the same at Agoda. Data and technology are at the heart of our culture, fueling our curiosity and innovation.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Program Manager to act as an implementation lead for large-scale HRIS and people technology transformation initiatives. This senior individual contributor role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing complex HRIS projects end-to-end, overseeing project governance, timelines, risks, and dependencies, and driving change management and adoption for new system rollouts and enhancements.

You will partner with People Team leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, deeply understand their domains, and think in the customers' shoes to identify technical solutions that deliver step-change improvements to our internal processes and employee experience.

Location: This role will be based in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or Gurgaon. Bangkok: Full relocation support will be provided by Agoda. Kuala Lumpur & Gurgaon: Applicants must already be eligible to work locally (citizens or holders of valid work authorization).

Key Responsibilities

Lead HRIS Programs & Project Planning

  • Manage a portfolio of People Technology / HRIS projects, coordinating scope, timelines, resources, and risks across multiple initiatives
  • Oversee large-scale HRIS transformations, including restructurings, overtime/position management changes, and deployment of new capabilities
  • Lead project discovery and planning workshops with HR and business stakeholders to define objectives, requirements, and project plans for target state processes and technology

Drive Design, Governance & Implementation Execution

  • Lead the design and governance framework on HRIS transformation projects, ensuring consistent standards, documentation, and alignment with business strategy
  • Translate business requirements into clear, scalable product requirements and technical specifications for implementation teams
  • Act as implementation lead for HRIS / people technology initiatives, including requirements gathering, fit gap analysis, configuration/testing coordination (SIT/UAT), cutover, and hyper care
  • Evaluate new project requirements and effort estimates, defining MVP, Phase 2 and beyond using data driven prioritization frameworks

Partner with Stakeholders & Execute Strategy

  • Partner closely with People Team leaders and other business stakeholders to validate needs, align expectations, and prioritize projects within the overall HRIS program
  • Execute agreed plans by defining and tracking milestones, managing issues and risks, and coordinating testing and deployment activities
  • Influence and, where appropriate, challenge requirements or scope to ensure projects remain deliverable, technically feasible, and sustainable over time

Lead Change, Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Plan and manage change management activities for new HRIS rollouts (new modules, features, or tools), ensuring stakeholders are prepared and supported
  • Coordinate communication and training efforts; oversee the creation of user guides, quick references, and the delivery of demos, training sessions, and Q&As
  • Run retrospectives/postmortems with stakeholders and project teams to capture lessons learned and improve future project execution and processes
  • Use project and adoption metrics (e.g., timelines, defects, usage, satisfaction) to evaluate outcomes and recommend adjustments or follow-up improvements

Shape Ways of Working & Coach Others

  • Promote and model agile ways of working, including backlog management, prioritization, and iterative delivery
  • Skill up and coach the BA / Partnerships team on Product Owner best practices (requirements definition, prioritization, stakeholder communication)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program / project management roles within IT, HRIS, or People Technology environments
  • Proven track record managing large-scale HRIS or people technology projects/programs end-to-end (from discovery and planning through go live and hyper care)
  • Strong project delivery skills: building and managing detailed project plans (scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues), coordinating cross functional teams (HR, IT, vendors, finance, etc.), keeping stakeholders aligned and projects on schedule
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and manage difficult stakeholders, set expectations, and constructively challenge scope or requirements when needed
  • Experience with change management for systems/process rollouts (comms, training, stakeholder readiness, adoption tracking)
  • Familiarity with agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies and how to apply them pragmatically in a corporate/HRIS context
  • A strong execution and delivery mindset: hands-on, organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication skills: clear written and verbal communication (including status reporting and exec updates), stakeholder and vendor management, critical thinking and structured problem solving, time management, prioritization, and follow-through
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
