Staff Specialist Facilities

Your Role

• Project Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and lead facility renovations, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades from initial concept to final execution.
• Resource Management: Analyze operating costs, create budgets, and allocate resources efficiently to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Design: Gather data to design facility systems and specify equipment that meets operational needs.
• Vendor Coordination: Select, direct, and oversee contractors and service providers for specialized construction tasks
• Technical Oversight: Manage Request for Information (RFIs), review project specifications, and track design changes.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce quality control measures, establish testing criteria, and inspect project deliverables to ensure compliance.
• Risk Management: Monitor daily operations, conduct risk assessments, and develop contingency plans to mitigate project delays.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, process submittals, track procurement logs, and generate regular progress reports.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facility, construction, or project management.
• Experience managing facility renovation, expansion, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, cost control, and contractor management.
• Ability to review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving, risk management, and project coordination skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• PMP certification and manufacturing industry experience are a plus.
