Research And Development Specialist

About the Role

First Class Innovation is looking for experienced scientist to join SRL Team (Skin Research Lab) as a Research and Development Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Research new raw materials required for the development of cosmetic technologies and ingredients and evaluate their quality to improve overall product performance.
• Monitor and manage timelines for product development.
• Coordinate with Researchers, Testing Labs, Suppliers, and Manufacturers.
• Analyze and compare technologies and products available in the market.
• Conduct patent searches and draft patent-related documents.
• Source raw materials (RM), including setting specifications, pricing, sourcing, and regulatory compliance.
• Compare production equipment specifications and prices, and select appropriate machinery based on production capacity.
• Scale up production processes from lab-scale experiments to full-scale manufacturing (upscale process).
• Perform QC inspections and testing and summarize test reports.
• Prepare production records and quality control documentation.
• Prepare regulatory documentation in compliance with FDA requirements (e.g., PIF, SOP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Research & Development (R&D), cosmetic technology development, active ingredients, and delivery systems.
• Knowledge of Molecular Chemistry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, creativity, responsibility, and high ethical standards in maintaining company confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented and thorough in assigned tasks.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Systematic thinking, analytical skills, and strong technical problem-solving ability.
• Able to start work immediately (preferred).
