About the Role
We are looking for passionate, curious, and driven students to join our team across several internship opportunities. Candidates are welcome to apply for more than one role if their background and interests align.
- AI Design Systems Engineer Intern
- Marketing Intern
- People Operations Intern
- Partnerships Intern
- QA Engineer Intern
Responsibilities
- As an intern at Omise, you will work closely with your assigned team and contribute to real projects that impact the business, gaining practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to the fintech industry.
- AI Design Systems Engineer Intern: Manage the "Mint" Design System in Figma using advanced features (Variables, Auto Layout) with a developer’s mindset; write clear, structured design documentation (design.md); research and experiment with MCP and AI tools (eg. Cursor, Claude) to automate design-to-code workflows; ensure Figma components match production code with focus on Design Tokens and UI libraries like Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.
- Marketing Intern: Support B2B marketing, branding, PR, advertising, and marketing automation; develop data-driven media and campaign strategies in fintech; manage projects, events, and marketing collateral; collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders; gain industry exposure through events like Money20/20.
- People Operations Intern: Support recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and training; collaborate onsite with HR teams, hiring managers, and stakeholders; lead a 6-month HR project to improve a People Operations process or initiative.
- Partnerships Intern: Support the partnership process and team; execute and manage partnership administrative tasks to ensure seamless onboarding; help sales run effectively by exploring business initiatives and processes; coordinate with partners for KYC and documentation; track and analyze key metrics (conversion rates, revenue growth, pipeline health).
- QA Engineer Intern: Collaborate with the QA team to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts; perform manual and automated testing to identify and document defects; assist in creation and maintenance of testing documentation; execute functional, regression, and performance tests on web and mobile applications.
Qualifications
- General: Currently a 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; passionate about technology, fintech, and innovation; strong communication and collaboration skills; eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment; able to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities.
- AI Design Systems Engineer Intern: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field; proficient in Figma with organized layers and reusable components; strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS; familiarity with shadcn/ui is a plus; able to build scalable, developer-friendly design systems; interested in AI tools and modern web trends.
- Marketing Intern: Currently studying Marketing, Communications, or related field; strong interest in marketing principles and practices; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
- People Operations Intern: Studying Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or related field; strong interest in people operations, organizational development, or corporate culture; collaborative, curious, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Partnerships Intern: Studying Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; pleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently across functions and explain complex documentation and regulations.
- QA Engineer Intern: Studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field; basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies; familiarity with programming languages such as Golang, Java, or JavaScript is a plus; knowledge of web and mobile application testing is desirable.
