About the Role

The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is a vital part of our IT Operations team, responsible for ensuring the high performance and reliability of our IT infrastructure. This role involves hands-on support and maintenance of Windows/Linux servers, Cisco/Aruba networks, hypervisors, cloud services, and voice communications. The position will cover our Bangkok headquarters, local branch offices, and may involve travel to other domestic and international locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of IT Operation including IT Infrastructure, IT Service Desk and work collaboratively across departments to offer technical assistance and guidance
• Participate in cross-functional projects, offering infrastructure insights and support to other technical teams as needed
• Hand-on maintenance, upgrades, and installations of new IT infrastructure components, while being ready to tackle any unexpected issues or emergencies occur during non-office hours, ensuring business operations continue with minimal disruption
• Develop comprehensive documentation for IT infrastructure systems, procedures, and processes
• Enhance IT infrastructure processes by adopting automation technology
• Respond to incidents and requests related to infrastructure, during AU and TH time zone
• Monitoring systems health. Flag any concerns in a timely manner to reduce risk
• Maintain inventory of IT related assets in data center is up-to-date
• Manage Microsoft Windows services, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange server, clustering services, Hyper-V virtualization, Hmail
• Administration of Linux web server, Apache, PHP, MySQL, Wordpress
• Administration of Fortigate firewalls and Cisco/Aruba networking technologies, including IPSec VPNs, VLANs, firewall rules, and both dynamic and static routing
• Administration of Office 365, AWS, and Azure cloud technologies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes
• Coordinate facility visits with third party technical personnel

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to set up, upgrade, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers, both physical and virtual
• Experienced in Cisco/Aruba network design and implementation, with a strong understanding of BGP, MPLS, VLAN, IP Telephony and Network Zone Based
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring an IT technical team
• Extensive knowledge and proven administration experience with cloud technologies, preferably with AWS and/or Azure
• Able to travel within Thailand and overseas
• Provide technical expertise to support IT colleagues in Thailand and overseas
• Associate Project management skills
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and IT change process
• Extensive experience working in the field of IT infrastructure managed service providers
• Good team player and communicator. Consistency report to assist Manager. Make sure all actions are agreed before change
• Fast learner and always keen to keep up-to-date to technological changes

Additional Information

This role may involve occasional travel to both domestic and international sites to support infrastructure needs. Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours is expected in response to critical incidents or support requirements in multiple time zones.
