Responsibilities

• Develop applications on Big Data technologies, including API development, as a Data Engineer specializing in Data Platforms.
• Design and develop applications using traditional Application Development approaches and integrate Analytics libraries into solutions.
• Write and debug complex code to ensure high-quality, production-ready deliverables.
• Apply open-source Natural Language Processing tools and statistical and big data computing libraries to deliver robust data platforms.
• Implement Big Data technologies and data processing frameworks to support data-driven solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Exposure to traditional application development with a strong foundation in software development principles.
• Experience working with Big Data technologies, including API development and data processing frameworks.
• Exposure to Analytics libraries and ability to integrate them into data-driven solutions.
• Experience with open-source Natural Language Processing tools and techniques.
• Exposure to statistical and big data computing libraries and understanding of their application to real-world problems.
• Preferred: exposure to machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and data visualization techniques.
• Preferred: experience with cloud-based Big Data technologies, cloud storage, and cloud computing platforms.
• Preferred: exposure to NoSQL databases and knowledge of designing and implementing scalable data storage solutions.
