Prompt Writer (AI Training)

Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Fully remote, flexible contract role open to strong writers and curious thinkers from any background. No technical or AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Craft original, diverse, and carefully designed prompts across a wide range of topics and formats
• Design questions and scenarios that test AI reasoning, creativity, accuracy, and safety
• Think adversarially—write prompts that expose blind spots and push AI beyond easy answers
• Follow prompt-writing guidelines and style frameworks to ensure consistency and quality
• Iterate and refine prompts based on structured feedback and evolving project needs
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Qualifications

• A creative thinker with strong written communication skills
• Naturally curious—you enjoy exploring ideas across many different subjects
• Able to write clearly and precisely on diverse topics without deep subject-matter expertise
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working within structured guidelines
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No prior AI, technical, or prompt engineering experience required
• Nice to Have — Background in writing, journalism, education, research, or communications
• Nice to Have — Experience with critical analysis, debate, or logic-based problem solving
• Nice to Have — Familiarity with AI tools or chatbots as an end user; broad general knowledge across multiple subject areas
