What You'll Do

Automation & Equipment Development

• Define technical requirements and specifications for new industrial equipment and automation solutions.
• Design and develop electrical systems for automated machinery and production equipment.
• Select electrical and electronic components based on functionality, performance, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Perform equipment testing, debugging, validation, and commissioning activities.

Machine Safety & Compliance

• Design and validate machine safety systems in compliance with international standards such as CE and UL.
• Conduct risk assessments and performance level calculations.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety, reliability, and operational requirements.

Engineering Standards & Documentation

• Develop and maintain electrical design standards and best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, including:
  • Electrical diagrams
  • Wiring diagrams
  • BOMs
  • Spare parts lists
  • Preventive maintenance documentation
  • Power consumption analysis

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate and supervise external suppliers and machine builders.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Work closely with mechanical, automation, manufacturing, and project teams throughout the equipment lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
• 4-6+ years of experience in industrial equipment design, automation machinery development, or machine builder environments
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Industrial automation systems
  • Electrical and electronic systems
  • Electrical control design
• Excellent experience with:
  • EPLAN
  • SolidWorks Electrical
  • Electrical schematic design
• Strong understanding of:
  • Machine Safety Standards (CE, UL)
  • Safety systems and performance level calculations
  • Industrial communication protocols
• Experience in:
  • Equipment development and commissioning
  • Electrical component selection
  • Factory automation solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience with industrial robotics and robotic integration
• PLC programming experience, especially Omron
• Experience in electronics, automotive, medical device, or automation machine builder industries
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings and machine design principles
