Solution Engineer

Summary of the Role

Support new/existing customers in the integration of Amadeus products or solutions.

Your main responsibilities

• Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions.
• Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.​
• Analyse customer systems and service requirements.
• Identify specific actions necessary to integrate Amadeus products/services.
• Establish and manage the product/solution integration schedule.
• Determine and document adaptations to Amadeus products and services.
• Write functional specifications used for customisation and/or verify that specifications reflect customer requirements.
• Guarantee that customised products/solutions meet specified requirements.
• Perform the necessary tests on the customized solution before it is delivered to the customer.
• Provide functional support and problem resolution to sales and/or customer functional staff.
• Support project activities during the implementation.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English
• Willing to work flexible hours to support customers worldwide
• Experience in the travel industry, GDS, and implementation processes is required
• Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Key skills: Problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability
• Technical skills: Basic understanding of development environments and tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Azure, Qlik Sense, IP addresses, and domains
