R&D Mechatronics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and design laboratory and analytical products
• Create and prepare technical documentation and drawings (operation instruction, calibration certificate, assembly sequence, test parameters etc.)
• Prepare cost calculation at different design steps, from engineering to production
• Conduct hazard and risk analysis for the products
• Assemble and test functional and prototype models
• Attend and cooperate with the team on part changes and quality issues

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical engineering design of scientific devices or parts
• Proficient in 3D design software; preferable AutoCAD Inventor
• Knowledge in injection molding and die casting
• Good communication in English
• Able to work independently under high pressure and be self-motivated and proactive
• Knowledge in electronics engineering design and embedded systems is an added advantage
