Inventory Controller

About the Role

Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring all supply chain-related activities within their coverage area are working efficiently and as-intended. This includes fast and predictable parts flow from distribution centers as well as accurate parts orders and high inventory accuracy from the field. Inventory Analyst will be responsible for performing onsite audits to ensure accuracy within Tesla Motors' proprietary service center management system and its users. This position will require travelling to each service center within the designated region.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and drives continuous improvement of supply chain operations.
• Develop and maintain communication channels between Supply Chain and Service teams for escalations, system updates, distribution network changes, etc.
• Take in, filter, and funnel field supply chain feedback to necessary supply chain teams.
• Liaise with Parts Distribution Centers/Channel Planning to maintain critical parts stock levels.
• Reduce shipping expenses, rush orders, and off-road cars due to parts shortages.
• Develop and manage execution of regional and global projects with many stakeholders.
• Organize full-scale physical inventory and periodic cycle counts at the service center level.
• Perform random audits to ensure parts inventory accuracy and availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years automotive field experience.
• Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Hands-on experience developing and/or delivering training materials.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned, independent thought and to speak and write effectively at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to be a resilient change agent capable of leading organization through paradigm shifts.
• Strong multitasking and project skills with the ability to adapt to change in scope, timeline, or focus without sacrificing execution.
