We offer expertise in medical interpretation through Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) services, ensuring smooth communication in the healthcare sector.

About the Role

This is a full-time remote position as an English-Khmer Experienced Medical Interpreter in a Blended (OPI & VRI) environment.

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation services over the phone and via video between English and Khmer in medical, social services, customer service, and financial settings.
• Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients to ensure effective understanding and care.
• Handle medical, customer service, social services, and financial calls.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Khmer.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Relevant certification in medical interpretation or a related field.
• Remote interpretation experience in both languages is mandatory.
• HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Requirements

• Ethernet connection (must be connected directly to the router via cable); Wi-Fi is not allowed.
• Noise-canceling microphone and USB headset. Only the following brands/models are accepted: Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220 (Poly), Microsoft Lifechat LX-6000.
• Browser: Latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox.
• Processor: i5 or higher, 6th generation or newer.
• Camera: Minimum resolution of 1080p.
• Full-time availability, 5 days a week (2 days off).
