Materials Planning Manager

About the Role

Materials Planning Manager responsible for materials planning, inventory control and MRP/ERP maintenance. Onsite at Ayutthaya Plant.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control materials delivery to plant and loading to production line per committed schedule
• Control inventory to be at optimum level
• Provide information on materials issues to management
• Maintain the MRP Baan database
• Collaborate with concerned departments to set up material control procedures
• Assist departments for new projects related to material issues and system development
• Set up or revise standard procedures for material planning function
• Coordinate with purchasing to procure materials per MRP
• Ensure materials arrive at plant on time and are loaded to production line per schedule
• Coordinate with program management to provide commit shipment schedules and customer-required information
• Analyze inventory and take appropriate actions to control levels
• Coordinate/monitor with QA to ensure incoming procurement material quality is within control limits
• Analyze backlog shipments and provide information for corrective action
• Perform other materials management tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• 7 - 9 years in Material/Production planning in electronic field
• Understand Baan or Oracle system
• Experience and knowledge in MRP/ERP concepts
• Customer interface skill
• Computer proficiency and good command of written and spoken English
• Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding Production Planning and Inventory Control
• Able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks with deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Able to work at Ayutthaya Plant
