Responsibilities

• Ensure production volume and size achievement based on curing mid-term demand by sequencing production areas using SAP PP/CGMS and related modules.
• Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties.
• Sequence production for curing, green tire assembly, component, required sub-components and compound to achieve optimal production output and size achievement as per the agreed plan with plant operations.
• Control phase-in and phase-out processes across all areas of tire production and coordinate the phase-out process.
• Regularly monitor within the shift order achievement for all responsible production processes in SAP PP and report current status.
• Initiate and communicate required corrective actions and changes to the order sequence to production processes to minimize/avoid production losses.
• Transparently communicate gaps and hindering factors in the production sequence (process, quality, machine reliability limitations).
• Break down the daily plan taking into account plant constraints, quality requirements and KPIs; optimize lot size and stock structure to ensure cold & hot preparation do not lack compounds.
• Ensure preparation sequencing planners are trained on mixing sequencing processes to act as back-up during the shift (after 5PM and over the weekend).
• Fill in the monthly Order Achievement reports provided by IE in preparation of the monthly incentives.
• Analyze daily the fulfillment of size achievement KPI and take corrective actions when needed.
• Adjust the plan after 5PM and over the weekend; working hours within the limit of the German Due Diligence Law (60 hours).

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field.
• Experience in tire manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Theoretical knowledge of manufacturing, industrial engineering, process engineering or similar.
• Experience in production processes and/or sequencing function, production or logistics related functions.
• Experience in SAP is an advantage.
• Expert analytical and planning skills; experience in problem solving skills and tools.
• Networking and interaction skills with fellow sequencers in other plants.
• Communicate effectively and work under time pressure.
• Good command of English.
• Able to work night shift and open to multi-skilling and potential moves within the sequencing department.
