Position: Production Supervisor
Location: Lumentum Thailand, Navanakorn – Pathum Thani
Department: Production
Reports To: Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost targets.
• Monitor production output, ensure adherence to production schedules and customer requirements, and manage manpower allocation, staffing levels, and shift assignments.
• Ensure production processes are executed according to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Warehouse, and other support functions to resolve production issues and escalate operational challenges when needed.
• Monitor key production KPIs and drive performance improvement actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop production operators and team leaders; conduct daily shift meetings and communicate production priorities, safety updates, and operational objectives.
• Manage employee performance, attendance, discipline, workforce engagement, and support on-the-job coaching and skill enhancement.
• Promote and ensure strict compliance with EHS requirements, company policies, workplace safety regulations, ISO standards, and RBA requirements; support internal and customer audits.
• Drive productivity improvement, waste reduction, and operational efficiency through root cause analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, 5S) initiatives.
• Ensure all operators receive required job training and certification; support onboarding, cross-training, and training compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, optical technology, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong leadership, people management, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of production operations, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and workplace safety standards.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Good command of English communication.

Working Conditions

• Work primarily in a manufacturing production environment with regular interaction with operators, technicians, engineers, and manufacturing support teams.
• Ability to support shift operations, overtime, and weekend activities when required by business needs.
