PMO Engineer

About the Role

The PMO (Project Management Office) at EssilorLuxottica supports the planning, monitoring, and coordination of projects both within ELTL and those connecting the plant with other sites or supply chain flows. This role provides visibility into end-to-end production processes, resource allocation, project timelines, and operational KPIs. The PMO ensures projects are executed efficiently, risks are managed proactively, and cross-functional teams are aligned on priorities. Key responsibilities include selecting projects for review, proposing project closures, identifying initiatives that need a boost, providing support to teams, and organizing weekly project review meetings with Heads of Department (HODs) to track progress and address any issues.

My day at EssilorLuxottica

• Support and coordinate projects across the Rayong plant as well as projects connecting other EssilorLuxottica sites and entities, working closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, and HODs.
• Participating as a project resource or lead smaller initiatives, ensuring timelines, KPIs, and deliverables are tracked and reported.
• Organize and follow up weekly project review meetings with Heads of Department (HODs) to monitor progress, identify risks, and align priorities.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between different plants, business units, and teams, including the Continuous Improvement (CI), LOFT, and Manufacturing Engineering (ME) teams.
• Provide analysis, reporting, and support for project dashboards, presentations, and updates to local and corporate management.
• Build a strong network within the organization, gaining visibility and understanding of different activities, business units, and decision-makers from Engineering to HOD level.
• Use this opportunity to grow quickly within the organization, learn how projects and operations are connected, and support strategic initiatives across multiple sites.
• Ensures that work and processes comply with company policies and management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and others, if applicable.

Must have

• Experience within EssilorLuxottica, either as a project team member or project leader, with exposure to cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience connecting different plants, entities, or business units, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong English skills (written and verbal), with confidence in presentations and stakeholder communication.
• Open and proactive personality, comfortable interacting with multiple levels in the organization from engineers to HODs.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Good analytical and reporting skills, with comfort in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) to support dashboards and updates.
• Enthusiasm for learning the business, building a network, and understanding different activities and processes.
