Mould Foreman

Job Summary

• Responsible for planning and controlling mold cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure quality and adherence to the defined schedule.
• Plan manpower allocation for mold maintenance and repair tasks.
• Develop and improve mold maintenance processes to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Plan and prepare molds for job changes entering production, and perform maintenance on molds from completed jobs.

Job Description:

• Manage and monitor inventory of all mold SKUs, accessories, and consumables within the department.
• Inspect new molds, repaired molds, and stored molds to ensure readiness and support for production activities.
• Prepare mold sets for production job changes and perform necessary repairs to support continuous production.
• Collaborate with the production and quality teams to improve mold performance and implement corrective actions for defective mold components.
• Train new subordinate employees and evaluate their practical skills and performance during the onboarding process.
• Enhance mold durability and maintain part quality while identifying opportunities for cost savings and extending mold life cycles.
• Communicate issues related to mold repairs and evaluate the overall situation within the department.
