Assistant Solution & Project Manager

About the Role

Working closely with local BD/Account Manager and relevant Technical teams at CMI HQ to provide pre-sales technical support and lead on technical needs by using consultative skills to design proper solutions – combining CMI’s products & services – to meet prospects' requirements. Attend client meetings, assist in drafting solution proposals, and coordinate post-sales activities through handover to operations.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical requirements and collate necessary information prior to producing solutions.
• Provide pre-sales technical support and lead technical solution design using CMI products and other ICT solutions.
• Draft compelling technical documentation and proposals, including cost savings and benefits, RFI/RFP responses, demonstration material and service propositions.
• Create internal design/configuration documentation, process diagrams and technical explanations; perform technical development for bespoke solutions within a design & development framework.
• Develop effective working relationships internally across Technical Solution, Products, Resource and commercial units.
• Manage and motivate project team members/partners/suppliers for successful, on-time delivery of network solutions and enhanced customer satisfaction.
• Create project plans, define technical design specifications, quality baselines, budgets and resources through testing, acceptance and maintenance phases.
• Coordinate projects with partners and customers until delivery and handover to operations; manage project risks and mitigate impacts to meet timelines.
• Cultivate and deliver product training and project handover for colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, MIS or related fields.
• At least 3 years of trackable experience in IT solution design & planning, technical pre-sales, and managing deployment of ICT / ISP managed services or end-to-end enterprise solutions.
• In-depth working knowledge of TCP/IP v4 and an understanding of TCP/IP v6.
• Knowledge of internet technologies (routing, switching, general networking infrastructure) and ISP-related technologies, including internet connectivity methods and SD-WAN.
• Understanding of VPN technologies including IPSEC and MPLS VPNs.
• Familiarity with ICT solutions for office and factory infrastructure such as network, servers and facility systems (e.g., CCTV).
• Conceptual knowledge of IoT and new technology trends.
• Valid certifications from technology vendors (Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Google, AWS, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus.
