About the Role

The Senior Process and Chemical Engineer acts as the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Process and Chemical Leader within Engineering & Development Services (EDS). You will work with the Global Discipline Leader & Global Sub-Discipline Leaders to develop APAC resource management strategies, hire and develop talent, and build and lead a high-performance, medium-sized team across multiple solutions. You will report to the EDS APAC Resource Leader and have a matrix connection with the Global Discipline Leader.

Responsibilities

• Drive joint accountability for global project execution and safety performance.
• Build project teams with Global Discipline Leader/Resource Leader and coordinate with Regional Peers and EDS APAC Leader to strategically share work across geographies and solutions.
• Lead career development, talent development and training for the team.
• Resource leadership including performance management, merit and AIP allocations.
• Drive accountability for application of processes and tools to increase efficiency aligned with BV Nextgen strategy.
• Develop global growth strategy, hiring and staff forecasting including supplemental workforce planning.
• Manage financials related to staff utilization, budget monitoring, overhead control and approvals.
• Identify SMEs and staff to support proposal efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in process or chemical engineering or other related field.
• Minimum of 15 years related work experience.
• 5+ years of management experience in engineering, environmental, land services, project management and/or operations management.
• Prior project execution experience.
• Expertise in process engineering in the water industry.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Possess Professional Engineers with Practising Certificates (PEPC) if the candidate is in Malaysia.
