About the Role

Job Title - ServiceNow CMDB Engineer
Job Type - Yearly extendable contract
Work Mode - Onsite (5 days)
Work Location - Rachadapisek, Bangkok

Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented CMDB person to manage and enhance the ServiceNow CMDB across hybrid environments (cloud and data centres). The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, governance, and alignment with ITIL-based ITSM processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the build of the ServiceNow CMDB for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Maintain accuracy of the ServiceNow CMDB for data centers and cloud environments.
• Support implementation of configuration management processes in line with ITIL practices.
• Register, update, and retire configuration items (CIs).
• Monitor CMDB data quality, reconciliation, and compliance with defined standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams (operations, cloud, security, applications) to collect and validate CI information.
• Participate in audits and reviews of CMDB content to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide input for reports and dashboards on CMDB health and coverage.
• Share knowledge and best practices to improve configuration management maturity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CMDB/Configuration Management or ServiceNow administration.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations.
• Experience with ITOM Discovery and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4, especially Configuration and Change Management.
• Hands-on experience managing CIs in hybrid infrastructures.
• Knowledge of IT asset management, service dependencies, and infrastructure architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication and stakeholder management, with attention to data quality and governance.

Good to have

• ServiceNow CMDB certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience with automation, APIs, and regulated environments.
