About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Sales organisation as a Pre-Sales Consultant. The role requires strong technical and sales acumen with industry expertise in fraud and financial crime prevention for Financial Services. The Pre-Sales Consultant will collaborate with sales, professional services, product management, operations, and engineering to identify customer pain points, ensure product fit, and propose solutions. Location: Thailand (preferably Bangkok). Travel required 20%–30% locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed discovery with customers to uncover needs, drivers, dependencies and challenges.
• Deliver presentations, customized demos, working sessions and scoping meetings to technically qualify deals.
• Work with customer solution architects to design solutions, document them and socialize to acquire customer buy-in.
• Provide guidance on leveraging BioCatch within the customer decision-making process.
• Proactively scope and document technical solutions and project plans to address prospective requirements.
• Coordinate with professional services, delivery, and engineering to validate technical and commercial feasibility.
• Secure commitments from customer technical staff to meet technical requirements to close.
• Define Proof of Concepts with clear success criteria and guide delivery teams to achieve conversion.
• Support development of the overall business case and lead responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Work with customer InfoSec and BioCatch technical teams to answer security questionnaires.
• Interact regularly with customers to provide thought leadership, business expertise and guidance.
• Attend conferences for speaking engagements, profile-raising and lead generation where required.
• Maintain awareness of emerging fraud/financial crime MOs, industry trends, regulations and competitor intelligence.

Qualifications

• Thai (Fluent) and English (Fluent).
• More than 5 years of pre-sales engineering or consulting experience in fraud, financial crime or related technology with top-tier customers.
• Passion for innovative technology and an entrepreneurial attitude to grow within an international organisation.
• Preferred experience in enterprise architectures and AI solutions.
• Understanding of fraud prevention, AML and the financial crime landscape.
• General understanding of security frameworks and InfoSec requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to create custom market-facing presentations.
• Highly proficient analytical and problem-solving skills to uncover customer needs, draw conclusions and define appropriate solutions.

Skills

• Familiarity with operating systems (Linux), cloud computing (Azure, AWS) and API integrations.
• Knowledge of data formats (CSV, XML, JSON), database technologies and storage.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, SDKs and SPA development concepts.
• Basic understanding of statistical modeling and Machine Learning algorithm constraints.
• Ability to design technical Proof of Concepts and define success criteria.
