Internal Control Manager

Our client is a global electronic manufacturing business with revenues well in excess of six billion dollars. The company supports high-technology customers across multiple industries and has delivered sustained growth over many years. Thailand is a key node in their international manufacturing network, and this role sits at the centre of governance and risk for their Thai operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen internal controls, governance, and compliance frameworks across finance and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, COSO, company policies, Thai regulations, and BOI requirements.
• Review and monitor Segregation of Duties and Delegation of Authority controls.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and drive timely remediation of audit findings.
• Conduct risk assessments and support corrective action plans with cross-functional teams.
• Review tax compliance, transfer pricing processes, and BOI filings.
• Audit procurement, supplier onboarding, inventory, fixed assets, and operational compliance.
• Drive risk awareness initiatives, training programmes, and process improvement activity.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in internal controls, compliance, audit, or risk management within a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of SOX, COSO, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or Hyperion.
• Strong English communication skills; Thai language capability is an advantage but not a barrier for the right candidate.
• Proactive, collaborative leadership style with the confidence to influence cross-functional teams across cultures and time zones.

Preferred:

• CPA, CA, CIA or equivalent professional qualification.
