Senior Manager - Global Sourcing Import Operations & Performance Control

Responsibilities

• Lead identification and evaluation of potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships to ensure availability of high-quality products and services.
• Oversee analysis of products, market trends and product portfolio to define synergy opportunities and obtain insights on product, volume, packaging, quality and brand for bundling purchasing volume across the Group to achieve better purchasing conditions.
• Implement cost-effective procurement strategies to drive savings without compromising product quality or service levels; analyze market trends, conduct benchmarking and leverage data to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and Operations to align procurement strategies with business objectives, and foster strong relationships with international suppliers to promote collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with international procurement, including geopolitical, regulatory and supply chain disruptions; develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure continuity of supply.
• Continuously assess and enhance procurement processes, systems and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy and compliance; present regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, supplier performance and other key metrics to management.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Food Engineering, Economics or related field.
• At least 7–10 years as Buyer or related role, with focus on international sourcing and supplier management.
• Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, trade regulations and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational, project management and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
• Strong ethical and compliance orientation.
