Warehouse Outbound Manager (Samut Sakhon)

About the Role

Warehouse Outbound Manager (Samut Sakhon) at Shopee. Responsible for overseeing outbound operations, staffing, on-time departures and cost controls to ensure timely delivery to buyers and the distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for outbound operations and staffing; meet delivery departure dates/times and manage overtime, wages, and shrink budget lines
• Manage cross-communication between seller and buyer and resolve issues when problems occur
• Utilize the LABOR TOOL to oversee outbound staffing needs to adhere to departure schedules and timely delivery in a cost-effective manner
• Ensure all outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
• Ensure all SOPs, security policies and procedures are followed
• Maintain efficient and safe operation of material handling equipment
• Manage and analyze data to improve productivity and performance of outbound and related functions, including reducing CPO
• Manage hiring, coaching, mentoring and training to develop team members
• Direct assigned shift operations to achieve service and cost objectives
• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for fluctuating workloads and campaigns; ensure SLAs are met
• Prepare and maintain work records and reports such as employee time and wages, daily shipments, and productivity results
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors and managers to solve work-related problems
• Evaluate team member performance, prepare appraisals, counsel staff, and recommend personnel actions
• Assess training needs and schedule or provide instruction on SOP processes and expectations
• Coordinate with WMS team to improve WMS to support operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Logistic management, Supply Chain or related field
• 5 years progressive experience managing a B2C fulfillment operation (e-commerce highly preferred)
• Strong experience in Outbound operations
• Good team player with demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and oral English
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong knowledge and experience with WMS systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
