Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Safety Engineer (Machine Safety Design) to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that all machinery and equipment within our factory are designed and operated safely, meet international safety standards, and support a safe working environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify hazards, develop safety solutions, and implement preventive measures throughout the machine design and installation process.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine safety systems in compliance with standards
• Review machine and equipment designs to identify risks and recommend safety improvements
• Conduct Machine Risk Assessments, HIRA, and JSA for new and existing machines
• Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, and Production teams to integrate safety into machine design
• Design safety control systems including guarding, interlocks, emergency stops, light curtains, safety relays, and safety PLCs
• Inspect machine installation and commissioning to ensure full compliance with safety requirements
• Prepare safety documentation, risk assessment reports, and audit records
• Support incident investigations related to machinery and provide corrective and preventive action plans
• Deliver training to operators and engineering teams on safe machine operation
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies when required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• 0–5 years of experience in machine safety, industrial machinery, or relevant engineering roles
• Strong understanding of machine design concepts and safety standards
• Experience with safety devices (light curtains, interlocks, emergency stop systems, safety relays, safety PLCs)
• Knowledge of machine risk assessment processes and safety compliance requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment

Benefits

• Base salary (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
• Cash Supplement: Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) = 1,200 Baht/month
• 5 working days per week (Monday to Friday)
• Diligent Allowance: 4,600-9,000 Baht/year depending on attendance
• Bonus: Based on annual and company performance (examples: 2020 = 4.0, 2021 = 3.5, 2022 = 2.5, 2023 = 4.0, 2024 = 4.5 months)
• Annual Leave: 6 days (January–December 2025)
• Provident Fund: Employer contribution = 5%
• Medical Allowance: 6,000 Baht/year (OPD and Dental), accumulable up to 18,000 Baht
• Marriage Allowance: 2,000 Baht
• Children's Scholarship Fund: 2,000–5,000 Baht/year
• Funeral Allowance: 10,000 Baht/person (Family only)
• Group Insurance: Muang Thai Insurance (for IPD)
