Senior Import Officer

About the Role

The Senior Logistics Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, including both import and export activities across all transportation modes (Air, Sea, and Cross-border). This role ensures smooth, cost-effective, and timely movement of art toy products while maintaining compliance with customs regulations and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily import and export operations across Air, Sea, and Cross-border transportation
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Prepare and review shipping documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB/TWB, Form E, Form D, import/export declarations)
• Submit TISI applications to obtain Import Permits for products under regulatory control prior to customs clearance
• Handle customs clearance processes and resolve shipment or documentation issues promptly
• Monitor shipment status and proactively manage delays, risks, or disruptions
• Ensure accurate HS Code classification and proper duty and tax calculation
• Collaborate with warehouses, suppliers, and internal teams to align shipment schedules and requirements
• Maintain logistics records, reports, and performance tracking metrics
• Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations and internal SOPs
• Support product launches by ensuring timely delivery and availability of products
• Apply strong organizational and problem-solving skills in daily operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years for Logistics Officer and More than 5 years for Senior Logistics Officer of experience in logistics, import/export, or freight operations
• Strong knowledge of international shipping across Air, Sea, and Cross-border modes, including customs procedures
• Hands-on experience with shipping documentation and coordination with freight forwarders
• Familiarity with HS Code classification and basic regulatory requirements (e.g., TISI)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP for data analysis and reporting
• Good command of English (both written and spoken)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
