Supervisor, Product Cost Analysis

About the Role

The Costing Supervisor will lead the assigned costing team and report to the Costing Director. This role plays a key part in product costing, analysis, modeling and reporting, working closely with internal teams and manufacturing partners to ensure profitability, transparency and predictability. Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam or Bangkok, Thailand. Employer: JR286.

Responsibilities

• Manage responsible factories' product costing.
• Contribute to FOB and margin calculations for key projects (Inline, PROMO, SMU, etc.).
• Build strong relationships with Sourcing, Costing, Product and Buying teams, as well as Suppliers.
• Ensure all relevant costing systems are maintained, partnering with stakeholders.
• Evolve seasonal cost reporting process to support margin and business planning and lead automation efforts where possible.
• Manage team members by providing clear goals, coaching, training, and career development opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate activities related to Product Pricing or Seasonal Pricing processes; ensure product CBDs are analyzed and validated on time.
• Promote best practices across the costing organization.
• Influence sourcing decisions by creating transparency of landed cost optimization.
• Offer product cost optimization suggestions and identify/implement new practices and processes.
• Ensure efficient and timely exchange of knowledge and information within the JR286 internal team.
• Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately and comply with company security policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry and at least 10 years of costing experience.
• Proven track record of successful change management, continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
• Knowledge of sporting goods product development, production processes, and best practices is a plus.
• Highly developed analytical strengths and ability to identify and solve problems with a logical mindset.
• Ability to adapt and evolve in a continuously changing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Experience with Data Science tools (Power BI, Python, etc.) and Data Visualization is a plus.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English.
