Finance Manager

About the Role

Finance Manager at BDStar for the Thailand company based in Rayong Province; long-term on-site presence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-spectrum financial operations for the Thailand company: accounting, financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing, budgeting, cost control, treasury management, and internal controls.
• Handle Thailand tax compliance: VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax, tax filings, annual tax reconciliation, tax planning, and coordinate with tax authority audits (local agents will support bookkeeping and tax matters initially).
• Treasury and foreign exchange: cash flow management, cross-border payments, foreign exchange risk management, and bank relationship management.
• Audit and compliance: coordinate with internal and external auditors; manage matters related to the Ministry of Commerce, customs, and BOI incentive maintenance.
• Team management: lead the local finance team, enable cross-departmental collaboration, and provide business analysis and decision-making support.

Qualifications

• Work location is in Rayong Province, Thailand; long-term on-site presence is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; available for long-term expatriate assignment in Thailand.
• Over 5 years of finance experience, with at least 2 years as a Finance Manager or in a full-scope finance leadership role.
• Familiarity with Thai tax and financial compliance is preferred; experience in Southeast Asia or with overseas subsidiaries is an advantage.
• English proficiency as a working language (listening, speaking, reading, and writing); Thai language skills are a plus.
• Ability to independently establish financial processes, strong risk control awareness, able to work under pressure, and adaptable to overseas living.
