About the Role

Job Purpose: To support Investment Operation and Administration with day-to-day operation and assist in execution and implementation of approved plans/initiatives in respect of company’s Investment Linked Product.

Responsibilities

• Execute investment trades for investment-linked products with Asset Management Companies (AMCs) for mutual fund units on a timely basis using reports from the Company system (Life Asia/AS400) and ensure accurate and complete updates to Investment system (Hiportfolio).
• Carry out daily unit reconciliations of policyholder units with AMC asset units, including custodian reports.
• Input and validate unit prices for reasonableness and enter unit prices into the Company system; ensure unit prices are delivered by AMC as per the Service Agreement.
• Monitor discrepancies in fund transactions, unit reconciliations, and pricing to prevent errors and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor, maintain and update fund information such as fund factsheets, annual reports and fund calendar in the Company system; collaborate with AMCs to ensure effective communication of fund information and announcements to relevant departments.
• Maintain and update Investment Operation SOPs and procedures, including memoranda or internal policies related to Investment Linked Fund.
• Support new enhancements, new mutual fund or product launches including performing UAT and LMTs for projects.
• Prepare management information reporting.
• Undertake special assignments from the Line Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in investment operations, financial reporting, or asset management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in English for professional business communication, both written and verbal.
