Junior Data Engineer

About the Role

• Design, develop, optimize, deploy, and support data pipelines.
• Collect, transform, and process data on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Analyze multiple data sources and perform data ingestion through APIs, file transfers, and database links.
• Support reporting and dashboard requirements across different business workstreams.
• Develop data exports and APIs for business and analytics needs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to improve data performance and accessibility.
• Support ETL processes and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to data engineering and cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Around 2 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure (AWS or GCP are a plus).
• Experience with MS SQL, SSIS, ETL processes, and Data Warehousing.
• Knowledge of real-time data processing concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL development.
• Good understanding of APIs and database integrations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to business stakeholders.
• Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English is a plus.
