Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support plant to analyze root cause of part quality problems, identify, implement and verify long-term solutions.
• Follow up corrective actions and verify part quality issues are resolved.
• Cooperate with customers and internal sections on quality concerns.
• Develop and implement methods, criteria, documents, tooling and procedures (WI, Quality Plan, etc.) for QA inspectors.
• Perform quality data analysis and present findings to management and relevant sections for improvement.
• Issue trouble reports and feedback to concerned sections for corrective action.
• Ensure the quality system meets customer, corporate, and internal requirements.
• Supervise and develop subordinates and provide technical support.
• Perform pre-MRB verification and provide MRB technical information support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• 1-5 years of industry experience.
• Ability to analyze and identify root causes and provide recommendations; produce action reports (8D method) for customer complaints and field failures.
