Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and manage the plant SIOP and MPS process, leading the plant monthly SIOP meeting and the weekly MPS meeting.
• Manage, define and review master production schedules for all end items to achieve plant objectives (delivery performance and inventory level).
• Lead MPS and SIOP processes at plant level by consolidating data from different departments and identifying internal and external bottlenecks.
• Continuously improve SIOP and MPS processes and ensure procedures are respected and maintained.
• Ensure MPS is realistic and consistent with customers’ orders, plant objectives and capacities, and verify feasibility regarding actual and external capacities.
• Ensure the plant resource plan is consistent with SIOP and modify APU’s MPS if necessary.
• Optimize resources and inventory levels to achieve plant industrial objectives.
• Measure daily production achievement vs MPS for each product family and assess demand plan accuracy; propose action plans to improve MPS service rate.
• Manage plant load and propose resource allocations according to customer demand; coordinate actions to resolve bottlenecks with customers, suppliers and production.
